Web3 de abr. de 2024 · Rural health clinic or clinic means a clinic that is located in a rural area designated as a shortage area, is not a rehabilitation agency or a facility primarily for the care and treatment of mental diseases, and meets all other requirements of this subpart. WebVillage Health Teams (VHTs) – Uganda’s version of community health workers – were introduced to address some of these inequities by providing basic health services to the rural poor. However, like many such programs, the VHT program has high levels of attrition, in large part, because of inadequate supervisory and financial support.
