So I’m taking this with a grain of salt. For me personally, I don’t need amp capturing or cloning. I’d much rather have a couple of great modeled/profiled amps in a unit that respond great to my guitars.

WebAnd if we're talking about updates, no - the Headrush 2.4 update pales in comparison to the Helix 3.15 update. The Helix update significantly adds additional amps and FX to it's already large (+110) list of available legacy and new models. Headrush just can't compete with the full power Helix line - full stop. WebVolume itself is also a big part of the guitar sound so you simply can't get the same sound at reduced volume. I’ve actually read more comparison reviews saying that the Headrush is better at amp/cab simulation, while Helix does effects and mics better. I suppose it’s all a bit subjective which sounds better.

He swears by it, but, he’s a guitar player, and these things seem to lean heavily towards guitar and not bass.
