WebMay 17, 2013 · The hydraulics are weak. It really gets bad the longer you use it. The hydraulic reservoir is hot to touch after using. The liquid is clear. We changed the pump a year or so ago. Does anyone have any thoughts? Ty In advance Erin It could be a piece of dirt stuck in the pressure relief valve.

WebNov 9, 2024 · Basically, if you have the hydraulic speed adjusted to a slow speed and you move the lift position lever to the upper quadrant, an internal cam on the lift lever pushed the adjuster (34/35/26) down and it has linkage the overrides any slow hydraulic speed adjustment to wide open so when you lift it's not lifting slowly.

If your not sure if the fluid/filters has ever been changed, I would plan on doing that too. While your in there you might as well overhaul the lift cylinder and the top cover. I have found that if I hold the draft position lever about a 1/4" down (towards) the draft position the 3PH is strong and easily and consistently lifts a 5 foot bushhog. WebNov 14, 2024 · Your Ford 3000's hydraulic pump puts out 5 gpm, 2500 psi (on its best day). So your loader will always be slow till you install a front engine mount hydraulic pump. But it will lift just about anything within reason, just slowly. Your rear lift should work normally because it is designed for this 5 gpm rate. Check your flow control valve setting.

First adjustment is in Draft control and you adjust the turnbuckle. I believe that you likely have the wrong weight oil in the reservoir.
