WebAero/Hydro is fantastic. There's only a friendly-fire risk if you're careless, same with many forms of damage in this game. I mean, you're only going to shock/stun friendlies if you're bad at aiming spells and/or create electrified puddles that they walk through, and then only if their magic armor has already been broken.
